TEKNOFEST, of which Anadolu Agency (AA) is the Global Communication Partner, will be held abroad for the first time, crossing the borders of Turkey. The organization of TEKNOFEST in Azerbaijan is important as an indicator of friendship, brotherhood and strategic alliance between the two countries.
"TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan", under the management of Turkey Technology Team (T3 Foundation), Azerbaijan Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, will be held in Baku on May 26-29.
Within the scope of TEKNOFEST, various activities will be held in Baku Crystal Hall and Seaside Boulevard National Park for 4 days.
At the festival, stands will be opened by institutions and organizations from Turkey such as the Ministries of Interior, National Education, Transport and Infrastructure, Presidency of Defense Industries, ASELSAN, Baykar, HAVELSAN, ROKETSAN, STM, TEI, Turkish Aerospace Industries, and Turkish Space Agency.
Participating organizations from Azerbaijan and young people participating in the competitions will also introduce their products and projects within the scope of the festival.
Unmanned aerial vehicles, airplanes and helicopters will be exhibited in the static area of the festival. In addition, the Azerbaijan Air Force, the Turkish Stars of the Turkish Air Force and SOLOTÜRK will perform demonstration flights in the skies of Baku.
10 tech competitions
Within the scope of the festival, Baku Skills, Environmental Technologies, Technology for the Benefit of Humanity, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Glider, Agricultural Technologies, CanSet, Robotics, Smart Karabakh Hackathon, Rocket League European Championship competitions will be held in high school, undergraduate and higher graduate categories.
Numerous technology teams will appear in competitions open to national and international participation.
In addition, those who want to gain new customers, investors or stakeholders will have the opportunity to present their projects at the Azerbaijan Take Off Enterprise Summit.
In TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan, in addition to artist performances on the main stage, visitors will have pleasant moments with vertical air tunnel, water, robot shows, flight simulators and many other events.
Azerbaijan national tent at TEKNOFEST
Azerbaijan participated in the TEKNOFEST Space, Aviation and Technology Festival for the first time last year. In the exhibition area established by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport in the Azerbaijan national tent of the festival, the products and solutions of 11 local companies and "start-ups", as well as local unmanned aerial vehicles were exhibited.
The pilots of the Azerbaijan Air Force performed single flight demonstrations with the "MiG-29" warplanes at the air show held within the scope of the event.
This year's stop in Turkey is Samsun
TEKNOFEST has been organized every year since 2018 by the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. This year's stop of TEKNOFEST in Turkey will be Samsun.
The events to be hosted by Samsun Çarşamba Airport will be held on 30 August-4 September.
