Radio-Frequency (RF) Technologies Roadmap Workshop was organized by Presidency of Defense Industry (SSB).
According to the statement made by SSB , Defense Industry Vice President Celal Sami Tüfekçi and Turkish Armed Forces, university research centers, public and private sector representatives participated in the workshop.
SSB is planning, monitoring and supporting the technology acquisition activities in a holistic approach within the framework of the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan. Investing in the technologies of the future, which will give the security forces the capabilities to create a surprise effect, is also among the strategic objectives of SSB.
Within this framework, FOC Technology Networks (OTAG) are created and technology based R & D road maps are produced. This means of reducing required by the international security forces in technology and dependence on the map of Turkey is aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the sector. Road maps are prepared by meeting with representatives of Turkish Armed Forces, security forces, industry, university and research organization.
